Brook's Memorial Park



Our city park features a full size outdoor basketball court and three well maintained baseball fields. It has wide open areas for picnicking, clean benches to rest on, and play equipment for children. Free overnight parking with electricity hook-up is available. It is near the golf course, indoor swimming pool, and the restaurant Cho-Snazz. Downtown Martin, all the retail stores, both grocery stores and Sportsman's Lanes II, a bowling alley, are just a short stroll away.
Hodson Park


This is a sidewalk park beautifully landscaped with plush green grass and many mature trees. It is an extraordinary sight in the fall with heaps of large orange leaves for the kids to roll in. Two sheltered picnicking areas are outfitted with stone tables and benches and outdoor grills.
City Golf Course



Enjoy a challenging green grass, 9-hole golf course. Many golfers travel statewide to enjoy this course. Cart rental is available. Stop at Cho-Snazz for refreshments and a bite to eat or send the kids to cool off in the indoor swimming pool during the summer months.
Martin Community Heritage Center


A must see for travelers looking for a dose of history. The Martin Community Heritage Center showcases items of white settlers and Native Americans. Check out the adjacent lot featuring equipment dating back to the original pioneers. Find out when it is open in the upcoming events.
Bennett County Library



One of the best features of the library is the well-stocked children's area. This area fills nearly half the library and is complete with a story time area with a large rug, benches, stuffed animals, and children's tables and chairs. Children's story times are posted in the upcoming events. The library receives new books weekly and keeps current many popular magazines and newspapers on hand. While you are there, check out the extensive collection of books on tape (great of traveling) and large print books, use the internet, or work on a the adult's puzzle.
